Aghanloo Church is located on Aghanloo Road, Limavady, Londonderry.

The church as it stands today was consecrated on the 2nd of July 1826 and is situated south of the old church which is now in ruins.

It is unknown when the old church was first established but by 1622 it was in a ruinous form and then destroyed in 1641 and still in bad repair by 1693. It was later rebuilt in the 1700’s but it would fall again into ruins again by the 1800’s. Presently this old church is represented by a mound of earth close by todays building.

The present building is still an active country church that would be easily missed if you are travelling to it. There is no off-road parking. There is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945 war here in the grounds.
