Seaman Edward Redman was the son of William and Elizabeth Redman, of Sunderland, Co. Durham; husband of Lavinia Hannah Redman, of Sunderland.

Edward passed away in the Waterside Military Hospital Londonderry from a perforated duodenal ulcer.[1]

H.M.S. Victory was a holding list for sailors who were yet to be posted to a ship or were awaiting reposting due to a ship being repaired or sunk. No further information presently available.
