Deck Hand Edward Lazenby was the son of Edward and Hannah Marsh Lazenby, of 5, Pretoria Avenue, Flinton Street, Hull. He was born on the 26th of November 1896 and unfortunately died from pneumonia. The relative listed as being informed at his time of death was Margaret Lazenby (his wife) of 34 Scarborough Street, Hull.
There is a clash of information on this sailor. He is listed as being on H.M.S. Colleen[1] and H.M.T. Angle[2] at the time of his death. It is probable though that he may have been transferred to Colleen due to his illness, and he served onboard the Angle.
