Engine Room Artificer Reginald Doffman, was the son of Charles William and Alice Doffman, of Sneyd Green, Stoke-on-Trent.
Reginald Doffman is listed as having died from drowning. His body was found on the 14th of October 1946 near the village of St. Johnston in Co. Donegal, Ireland.
He served on the sub-marine H.M.S. Sanguine[1] which had only gone into service at the end of the war and was supposed to serve in the Far East, but after the surrender of Japan it returned home.
